Get set for a big, bright, fun and family-friendly day, with bands, great speakers and even face-painting for the kids! You will be one of thousands across Australia making the time to stand up and demonstrate support for a price on carbon pollution and the start of the clean energy transition for Australia.

Right now, the Federal Government, the Greens and the Independentsare making choices for our future. They can set an ambitious carbon price andreinvest in renewable energy, or, they can cave into the big polluters, who arelobbying hard to make sure money stays in their pockets.

On June 5, we can make sure our voices are heard - right atthe time when our government needs to hear our support the loudest.

We'd be proud to stand with you on Sunday!

If you would like ot SAY YES but can't make it to Sydney on Sunday, you can head along for drinks at the Dockyards (Honeysuckle) on Sunday from 3-6pm to SAY YES with friends in Newcastle and have a picture taken to add to the power of the campaign.

Save Solar Rally

Mon 6th June 11:30am (Newcastle)

When:  Monday 6th June 11:30am

Where:  Outside the office of Newcastle MLA Tim Owen - 26 Bolton Street NEWCASTLE

The Solar PV Industry has teamed up with community groups to organise a number or rallies around NSW next week to show the new O'Farrell Government the extend of community anger of their disastrous decision to kill off the NSW Solar Industry.

As most people are now aware, the State Government is proposing to introduce retrospective legislation to reduce the legislated 60c/kWh Feed In Tariff for existing solar customers.  This is a massive breach of trust with the people of NSW, not just those with Solar.  Retrospective legislation in this case would undermine the legitimacy of every decision the Government makes with people asking the obvious question?

Can they be trusted?

If that we not enough to warrant coming out in support of the solar industry and renewable energy more generally, the solar industry now faces an uncertain future.  In fact more than 5000 people currently employed in the industry are at real risk of losing their jobs.
